AIFF Rangers Baby League
In the 21st century, football is truly attained the status of global game. The game has picked up momentum after India hosted Fifa U-17 World Cup last year. It's a situation All India Football Federation has sought to foster in last couple of years by taking the beautiful -ball game to new territories across the country, through Baby Leagues.
All India Football Federation's (AIFF) Baby League is a strategic effort of the governing body in India to provide fillip to development of the game at the grassroots level. Baby League focuses on children in the age group of 6 to 13 years. Above all a stage to identify talent at a young age.
This crucial player development program of AIFF had a first pit stop at Mizoram, followed by Meghalaya and Mumbai. The League is all set to reach out more parts of the country as AIFF has set target 2030s for Fifa World Cup qualification.
The AIFF has given Rangers Football Academy an opportunity, as operator, to host the League in Vadodara. Matches will be played every weekend and that will not disturb their routine, especially studies. Moreover, the League shall help them develop better decision making abilities, since they will be playing many competitive games.
The League will have a professional touch and has been approved by All India Football Federation, Gujarat State Football Association and Baroda District Football Association.
This is the fifth Baby League in India and second in Gujarat.
Rangers Football Academy
A question that comes naturally to the mind is, why Rangers Football Academy? It is because, Rangers is a trusted name since 1984, legacy of three decades. Brain child of Mukesh Patel, Rangers in 30 years, has produced more than 100 players, who have competed in National competitions. At present RFA is operational at two different places in Vadodara with professional coaches training hundreds of youngsters. .
RFA is the only international academy in Gujarat. RFA has tie-up with USA-based SSA Savannah United as Developing Partner, who are developing partners of England's Chelsea Football Club and USA’s Atlanta United.
The main reason for RFA continues to remain in heart of Barodians is the path it has taken. RFA has never drifted from its core objectives. RFA has always strived to develop, improve and nuture young talent by providing professional training of international standards.
RFA has been successful in inculcating value of practice, importance of team work, punctuality and self confidence among the players. The dug out has always promoted peace, taught to respect opponents and instil discipline.
For the participants
After one of the biggest corporate in the country provided a financial thrust to Indian football through Indian Super League (ISL), the beautiful game is next big thing to happen to India. These Leagues are going to be scouting ground for ISL franchises, as it is an authentic competition authorised by the football governing body in India - AIFF.
Rangers Football Academy, through AIFF Baby League, wants to guide your children to realize their football talent. Certainly a stepping stone to National Level football.
All the registered participants will get an opportunity to attend a free 10-day selection-cum-pre-event camp after the registration, to get firsthand experience of international program, as the camp will be supervised by international standard coaches associated with RFA.
3 players from each match will be nominated as "Player of the matches” and will be reflecting on AIFF Baby League website during the tournament. Extensive coverage in media and social media.
